Our lab is very happy to announce and congratulate the most recent alumni of our lab: Abbie and Anna!
After four years of hard work and dedication, both of them walked the stage this May 18th and celebrated the end of an important milestone of their academic careers together with 293 graduates.
Abbie graduated with a major in Psychology, a concentration in Mental Health Services, and a minor in Criminal Justice. During their years of college, Abbie was a lead tour guide, a member of the Jazz band, and one of the founders and active members of the Fiber Arts Club. Anna graduated with a major in Psychology and minored in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
After joining the GIVE lab, their contribution to the lab was fundamental. They actively assisted in gathering recruitment information for a collaborative project with Sonoma State University on the Title IX system within the California State University system.
They also helped develop and present two posters examining the underlying factors of sexual violence perpetration in two important conferences: the Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity held at Worcester State University and the MASS URC hosted by the University of Massachusetts Amherst in April of this year.
Abbie and Anna will continue to offer their bright ideas and stellar work as volunteers in the lab. We are excited to welcome them back as soon as the Fall semester begins, and we offer our sincere congratulations and the best of wishes for the future!
